Well, I didn't find any swallows today but there are sparrows to be found. I just haven't been able to situate myself to find an American Tree Sparrow lately, just the common House Sparrow. But today I did find some Canada Geese. Other notables today were: a Black Duck and Sharp-shinned Hawk at Courage Kenny, a Pileated Woodpecker at Mahnomin Park, and re-found the Barred Owl at Springbrook Nature Center. A new Big Day number for January - 25 species.
God Bless - Pete
